Empower the Next Generation: Join Our Educational Internship Program

The certified non-profit organization, Free The Children Japan, located in Setagaya, Tokyo, is excited to announce the recruitment of participants for the Next Generation Leadership Internship Program. This initiative aims to train leaders for our upcoming summer camp, Take Action Camp 2025, where participants will learn essential facilitation skills that empower children to think critically and take action on social issues.

The Next Generation Leadership Internship Program has been a staple for university students since its launch in 2012. Over 161 interns have benefited from this program, which emphasizes understanding that children possess the power to effect change. By participating, interns will not only engage in training that spans from June to August but also acquire skills in facilitation, team building, communication, and problem-solving in a hands-on environment.

Overview of the Internship Program

This three-month program consists of training sessions and practical experience, all at no cost. Participants will learn how to connect with children individually, fostering their unique strengths and ideas through a tailored facilitation method unique to Free The Children. The camp will host fifth to twelfth graders, providing interns with invaluable opportunities for growth and unforgettable memories.
