L'Oréal Paris is thrilled to announce the call for nominations for its 20th anniversary of the esteemed Women of Worth Program. This initiative recognizes and honors exceptional women who are truly making a difference in their communities. If you know a remarkable female changemaker who goes the extra mile to create positive impacts, now is the time to nominate her!
What the Program Offers
From now until March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day, L'Oréal Paris USA is inviting the public to suggest candidates for this year's program. Ten outstanding women will be selected as honorees, receiving a grant of $25,000 to propel their non-profit organizations forward. The nominations can be submitted via
WomenofWorth.com.
The selection process will take place in collaboration with Points of Light, a respected leader in global volunteering, ensuring that the strongest candidates are recognized. This year marks a significant milestone as L'Oréal Paris celebrates two decades of empowering women through this outstanding program.
A Legacy of Change
Laura Branik, the President of L'Oréal Paris USA, expressed pride in the program’s history and the impact it has made, stating, "We are extremely proud of the 190 women this program has supported over the past two decades – those driving change for the country's most pressing issues. We look forward to celebrating 10 more incredible female changemakers in 2025." The Women of Worth initiative has consistently strived to uplift women who pursue causes that matter to them, whether in education, women's rights, healthcare, or environmental conservation.
Speaking to the transformative power of the program, actress Eva Longoria, who has been a brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris for 20 years, shared, "I have had a firsthand look at the evolution of the program since the beginning and watching it uplift women across a multitude of causes they support over the past two decades has been incredibly inspiring." Eva’s involvement underscores the commitment of L'Oréal Paris to spotlight women’s achievements and foster a community of support.
Spotlighting Previous Honorees
Part of the annual celebration includes the prestigious Karen T. Fondu Impact Award, given to an alumna who demonstrates exceptional commitment to her cause since being recognized. This year, Dr. Ni'Cola Mitchell, founder of Girls Who Brunch Tour, has been celebrated for her significant impact, having empowered over 48,000 women. Her programs focus on vital areas such as STEM, technology, and wellness, particularly for communities of color.
"Since being a Women of Worth honoree in 2019, Ni'Cola has gone on to impact over 48,000 women and has a presence in 28 cities, including internationally," Branik noted. This showcases the long-term benefits of being part of the Women of Worth community, allowing honorees to continue advocating for their important causes with solid backing.
