A Festive Celebration for Mocoron

From July 1 to October 31, 2025, Odakyu Electric Railway Company will host an exciting series of events to celebrate the second anniversary of its beloved mascot, Mocoron. This initiative, themed "Making Family Outings More Enjoyable," aims to create a more family-friendly community along the railway lines.

Mocoron, a symbol of Odakyu's commitment to supporting families, made its debut on August 23, 2023. This charming character has been actively engaging with families, especially on weekends, to enhance the experience of traveling along Odakyu's routes. The company has also introduced a Mocoron-themed wrapped train, which serves as a warm reminder to nurture a supportive environment for parents and children.

Special Décor and Merchandise

During the anniversary celebration, the interior of the Mocoron train and certain Romancecar models will don special anniversary decorations. Enthusiastic fans will also have the chance to get their hands on exclusive merchandise such as an eco-bag featuring a storage pouch and a popular lying plushie of Mocoron, both designed for easy travel.

Starting July 1, the Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower in Shibuya will offer the delightful Mocoron Parfait at its restaurant. On August 17, a festive event at the Odakyu Department Store in Machida will allow families to meet Mocoron in a special Happi coat. There are also plans for unique events at the Romancecar Museum in September and at Enoshima in October.

Odakyu is committed to making family travel more affordable, with initiatives like a fixed fare of just 50 yen for child IC transportation and the introduction of child-friendly train cars that make journeys more enjoyable for families. Collaborating with local partners, Odakyu aims to create a supportive environment for children’s growth.

• - Decor and Head Mark: Experience anniversary-themed decorations in trains and headmarks on special Romancecar models.

• - Family Outings: From July 1 to September 30, there will be a special accommodation package at Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower that includes photo opportunities with Mocoron and a stay that includes the Mocoron parfait.

• - July 8-14: A special Mocoron-themed popup shop at the 7th floor event space of the Odakyu Department Store in Shinjuku, featuring exclusive merchandise and a wool felt workshop.
• - August 17: A celebratory event at the Odakyu Department Store in Machida, where families can participate in cookie-making experiences and meet Mocoron.
• - September 20: Events at the Romancecar Museum, including free photography with Mocoron and a poster exhibition.
• - October 25: A wrap-up event at Katase-Enoshima Station, where children can interact with Enoden character Enon and participate in a stamp rally with exclusive rewards.
