Revitalizing Office Spaces: The Healing Forest Experience for Well-Being Management

Pasona, a leading Japanese HR services company, is taking the initiative to enhance corporate well-being through a unique experiential event titled Healing Forest - A Space Strategy for Health Management Realized through Communication, Refreshment, and Recharge. This significant event, scheduled from November 19 to November 21, 2025, will take place at FORUM, a dedicated event space within COREDO Muromachi Terrace in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

In a post-pandemic world where remote and hybrid work models have become prevalent, companies face the challenge of enhancing productivity and strengthening team dynamics. There is a growing trend toward returning to the office; thus, the need for workplace environments that promote not only productivity but the physical and mental health of employees has never been more critical.

In collaboration with Asahi Beverage and Kagome, Pasona aims to create a three-day immersive experience focusing on the themes of communication, refreshment, and recharge. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore specially designed office rooms showcasing health management solutions offered by the participating companies, allowing visitors to experience a genuinely well-being-focused space.

Innovations on Display

Pasona will showcase COMORE BIZ, a scientifically backed office solution inspired by the biophilia theory, which posits that humans feel instinctively at ease when in contact with nature. This solution aims to transform the workplace into a light place, optimizing natural environments that enhance health management. By integrating biophilic design elements—such as plants and natural sounds—into the workspace, the initiative seeks to improve both employee and corporate well-being.

Asahi Beverage’s Contribution

Asahi Beverage will feature the EXTRA BURST, a carbonated water server utilizing unique technology to provide a level of carbonation difficult to achieve with conventional bottled beverages. This innovation offers refreshing hydration that contributes to the productivity and comfort of workers by enhancing their physical and mental state.

Kagome’s Well-Being Support

Kagome will present its health services based on horticultural therapy—an approach that promotes mental and social health through interaction with plants. The event will include insights from companies currently implementing these wellness solutions, allowing attendees to witness the positive impacts of engaging with nature.

Special Seminars Scheduled

Alongside the exhibition, a series of special seminars will take place throughout the event:
  • - November 19: "Effects of Plant Coexistence Spaces on Individuals and Corporations" featuring speakers from Toyota and Pasona.
  • - November 20: "Stress Care for Employees through Applied Horticultural Therapy" presented by esteemed academics from Chiba University and Kagome.
  • - November 21: Discussion on the benefits of carbonated water based on research by Asahi Beverage.
