Supporting the 28th Haiku Koshien

This prestigious haiku competition, held annually since 1998 in Matsuyama, Ehime, celebrates the local heritage of famous haiku poets such as Masaoka Shiki and Takahama Kyoshi. On June 16, 2025, a regional competition took place at Haneda Airport, where Marutomo undertook a sampling initiative as part of its sponsorship efforts. The company provided a total of 300 free samples of its flagship product, "プレ節Ⓡ25ミクロンソフトけずり1.2g×12袋" (Premium Bonito Flakes), to participants and spectators at the event.
"プレ節Ⓡ" represents the pinnacle of Marutomo’s bonito flakes, made from carefully selected dried bonito from Makurazaki, Kagoshima. This product features a unique 'rich flavor and umami double blend' that combines two types of bonito flakes, creating an exceptional taste, aroma, and texture.
