The 2nd Japan Local Frozen Food Awards 2025-2026: Celebrating Culinary Excellence



Japan is set to host the much-anticipated second edition of the "Japan Local Frozen Food Awards 2025-2026," aimed at elevating the frozen food industry and celebrating regional culinary specialties. Following the successful inaugural event last year, which saw 72 unique entries, this year's competition has grown significantly, featuring a remarkable 115 entries, marking a 60% increase over the previous year.

The awards focus on promoting local frozen foods from all 47 prefectures, culminating in the crowning of a Grand Prix winner and several other prestigious prizes. During the initial round of evaluations, 112 entries will progress to the second stage, reflecting the diverse quality of products on offer.
