Understanding Creative Office
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) advocates for the creation of 'Creative Offices,' which are designed to enhance the integration of diverse knowledge and foster an environment where employees’ creativity and individuality can thrive. Through a collaborative movement involving academia, industry, and government, the NOPA aims to boost Japan's intellectual productivity and promote the creation of valuable workspaces that ensure employee satisfaction.

Founded in 1987, the New Office Promotion Association was established in response to recommendations from METI’s advisory committee, aiming to promote the development of new offices conducive for creativity and productivity.
