DoGo Power Unveils Innovative Smart Grid Energy Storage Systems at EcoEnergy Expo 2026

DoGo Power Showcases Innovative Smart Grid Energy Storage Solutions

At the EcoEnergy Expo 2026, held in Kyiv, Ukraine, DoGo Power has unveiled its latest smart energy storage (ESS) systems that focus on creating smart grids. This event, recognized as a premier platform for renewable energy development in Eastern Europe, serves as an important venue for promoting advancements in sustainable technology.

Aiming for Energy Transition in Ukraine

Ukraine is undergoing a significant energy transformation, with ambitions to achieve an installed energy storage capacity of 1.5 to 2 gigawatts by 2030. As one of the largest exporters of agricultural products globally, the Ukrainian agricultural supply chain increasingly relies on stable electricity supplies and distributed energy resources. This dependency has led to a heightened demand for energy storage solutions integrated with agricultural production and research scenarios.

DoGo Power's smart ESS is designed to meet these specific local needs. Its innovative 4S platform integrates four core systems—Energy Management System (EMS), Power Management System (PMS), Power Conversion System (PCS), and Battery Management System (BMS)—through a tripartite architecture labeled "dispatch-coordination-control." This architecture allows for millisecond-level response times and seamless transitions between grid-connected and off-grid operations within 20 milliseconds.

The system operates stably even in environments with a short circuit ratio (SCR) of one or higher, showcasing its robustness. Equipped with Eco’s AI-driven tools, it employs intelligent algorithms to optimize energy dispatch and operational parameters, significantly lowering operational and maintenance costs throughout its lifetime. This design aligns with Ukraine's local requirements for enhanced grid resilience and facilitates remote, easily maintainable operations.

Efficient Solutions for the Commercial and Industrial (CI) Market

For the CI segment, DoGo Power introduces its flagship 10-foot container with a capacity of 1.672 MWh. This container merges functionalities equivalent to six ESS units with capacities exceeding 260 kWh each, along with a combined switchboard and transformer. By doing so, it reduces initial capital costs by 1.2 cents per watt-hour and floor space by 35%, while also minimizing field labor expenses and shortening project timelines by 5 to 7 days.

This unit functions as an independent microgrid, supporting multi-energy inputs and enabling smooth transitions between grid-connected and off-grid modes within just 20 milliseconds. The varying capacity options and compatibility with third-party inverters assist owners in correctly sizing the systems and repurposing existing equipment.

In line with the expo, DoGo Power held a thematic workshop titled “Focusing on Scenarios + Smart Grids + AI,” which connected experts in network technologies, agricultural research institutions, and industry partners. The workshop explored the applicability and business models for smart grid-forming energy storage solutions that support grid stability, coordination of distributed energy, and integrated agricultural systems—from source to load to storage—creating an inter-sectoral collaboration platform.

Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations

During the expo, DoGo Power secured partnerships with three key players. Collaborating with the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (IH NAAS), the company plans to deploy over 200 smart ESS systems across the institute's research bases and experimental farms in the upcoming years. This initiative directly addresses issues such as data loss from testing and unstable production energy caused by network outages during agricultural research.

Additionally, partnerships with local industry players NotaTrade and MIF aim to deliver reliable ESS solutions along with comprehensive service guarantees to partners and end-users throughout the systems' lifecycle.

In the future, DoGo Power will continue its collaboration with local Ukrainian industry partners, delivering innovative energy storage products and scenario-oriented solutions backed by smart grid capabilities. The goal remains to enhance efficiency, provide reliable technical support for energy supply stability, and contribute to Ukraine's green transformation efforts.
