DoGo Power Unveils Smart Energy Storage Systems at EcoEnergy Expo 2026
DoGo Power Showcases Innovative Energy Solutions at EcoEnergy Expo 2026
The EcoEnergy Expo 2026 has commenced in Kyiv, marking a significant industry event focused on renewable energy development in Eastern Europe. Under the theme “Lighting Up the World,” DoGo Power is presenting its cutting-edge energy storage solutions equipped with smart grid-forming capabilities. These advancements are designed to cater to the commercial and industrial sectors, ensuring access to reliable and affordable green energy.
Ukraine is accelerating its energy transition with ambitious goals, aiming to achieve between 1.5 to 2 GW of installed energy storage capacity by 2030. Given its status as one of the world’s largest agricultural exporters, the nation increasingly relies on stable electricity supplies and decentralized energy resources, thus growing the demand for integrated energy storage solutions within agricultural production and research.
DoGo Power’s intelligent energy storage systems (ESS) are meticulously tailored to meet local market needs. The 4S platform synergizes four critical components—Energy Management System (EMS), Power Management System (PMS), Power Conversion System (PCS), and Battery Management System (BMS)—within a tri-layered architecture of “Dispatch - Coordination - Control.” This configuration allows for response times measured in milliseconds and facilitates seamless transitions between grid-connected and island modes in a mere 20 milliseconds. The system remains stable even in subpar grid conditions, maintaining a short circuit ratio (SCR) of at least 1.
Equipped with Artificial Intelligence tools from the Eco series, DoGo Power utilizes intelligent algorithms to optimize energy dispatch and operational parameters, thereby reducing operational and maintenance costs across the system's lifecycle. This solution is specifically designed to enhance network resilience and ensure remote, user-friendly maintenance procedures.
For commercial and industrial applications, DoGo Power’s flagship container offers a capacity of 1.672 MWh, consolidating functions equivalent to six ESS cabinets of over 260 kWh each, one connection cabinet, one grid and island operation cabinet, and one isolation transformer. This approach reduces initial investment costs by 1.2 cents per watt-hour and minimizes the footprint by 35%, while also cutting down on-site labor expenses and project timelines by 5-7 days. The unit operates as an autonomous microgrid, accommodating multiple energy sources, and allowing swift switches between grid and island modes in just 20 milliseconds. The precision of varying capacities and compatibility with third-party inverters enables system size customization and the potential reuse of existing resources.
In conjunction with the Expo, DoGo Power held thematic workshops titled “Applications + Grid-Forming + AI,” gathering experts in grid technologies, representatives from agricultural research institutions, and industry partners. Discussions focused on how energy storage systems with grid-forming functions can bolster network stability, coordinate distributed energy resources, and facilitate integrated systems within agriculture that synergize generation sources, grids, loads, and energy storage.
A cross-sector collaborative platform was established during this event. DoGo Power announced collaboration agreements with three key partners, including the Institute of Horticulture at the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Together, they plan to gradually deploy over 200 smart energy storage systems with grid-forming functions across research centers and experimental farms in the coming years. These solutions aim to tackle challenges faced in agricultural research, such as data loss from instability and power disruptions, thereby ensuring continuous and stable research operations.
In partnership with local firms NotaTrade and MIF, DoGo Power has committed to providing reliable ESS systems to trade partners and end-users, along with comprehensive service guarantees covering the product lifecycle. The company intends to continue collaborating with local Ukrainian industrial partners, offering tailored energy storage products equipped with grid-forming capabilities, ensuring effective support for energy supply stability and Ukraine’s green transformation efforts.
