DoGo Power Unveils Smart Grid-Forming ESS at EcoEnergy Expo 2026 in Kyiv
DoGo Power's Innovative Systems at EcoEnergy Expo 2026
DoGo Power made a significant mark at the recently concluded EcoEnergy Expo 2026 held in Kyiv, Ukraine, focusing on the advancement of renewable energy in Eastern Europe. The theme of the expo, "Lighting Up the World," set the stage for DoGo Power to present its Smart Grid-Forming Energy Storage Systems (ESS), tailored specifically for the commercial and industrial (C&I) market.
The Ukrainian government has officially set a target of achieving 1.5 to 2 GW of energy storage capacity by 2030, indicating a strong push towards renewable energy adoption. Given Ukraine’s status as a major global agricultural exporter, the reliability of power supply is paramount. Thus, the demand for energy storage solutions integrated with agricultural operations is surging.
DoGo Power's cutting-edge energy system promises to address local requirements effectively. The platform is built on a comprehensive architecture that links four core systems—Energy Management System (EMS), Power Management System (PMS), Power Conditioning System (PCS), and Battery Management System (BMS). It delivers a response time of mere milliseconds and facilitates seamless connectivity between grid-connected and off-grid operations. This advanced capability ensures stable performance even in weak grid conditions, supporting a short-circuit ratio (SCR) of 1 or higher.
Equipped with a suite of AI-powered tools, the solution optimizes energy distribution and operational parameters, ultimately reducing operating and maintenance costs throughout its lifespan. This innovation aligns perfectly with Ukraine’s goal of enhancing grid resilience while ensuring remote and easy-to-manage operations.
One of the flagship products showcased includes a 10-foot container solution with a capacity of 1,672 MWh. This offering combines features equivalent to six ESS units of 260 kWh each, a power aggregation unit, a dual-function power cabinet, and a dedicated isolation transformer. This integrated system reduces initial capital costs by 1.2 cents per kilowatt-hour and minimizes footprint by 35%, which in turn shortens labor costs and project timelines by 5 to 7 days.
Functioning as an autonomous microgrid, the system supports diverse energy sources and ensures a swift transition between grid-connected and standalone operation within just 20 milliseconds. The modular power options and compatibility with third-party inverters aid owners in appropriately sizing their systems and making effective use of existing assets.
In conjunction with the expo, DoGo Power hosted a seminar titled “Scenario-oriented + Grid-Forming + AI,” where experts from network technologies, agricultural research institutions, and industry partners explored applications and business models for grid-forming energy storage systems. This initiative aims to bolster network stability, coordinate distributed energy sources, and integrate energy systems in agriculture, thereby fostering an inter-industry platform for collaboration.
As a result of meaningful dialogue at the expo, DoGo Power established collaborations with three key partners. One partnership with the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine focuses on deploying over 200 Smart Grid-Forming ESS units in the coming years. This deployment will meet challenges such as data loss and generation capacity inconsistencies affecting agricultural research's energy performance. Furthermore, it aims to secure continuous and stable operational capabilities for agricultural research systems.
In collaboration with local industry partner NotaTrade and MIF, DoGo Power has also committed to providing reliable ESS and comprehensive warranty solutions to stakeholders and end-users.
Looking forward, DoGo Power is committed to engaging with local Ukrainian industry partners to offer scenario-based and intelligent products and solutions, ensuring effective energy storage systems that support the country’s energy supply stability and transition towards greener alternatives.
