New Website Initiative for Junior High and High School Students
In response to a growing demand for resources tailored specifically for junior high and high school students, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is launching a new website project referred to as the "Junior High and High School Web Site (tentative title)." This initiative aims to provide insightful content and connections with municipal resources that resonate with the student demographic.
Overview of the Web Project
The proposed website will center around three core concepts:
1.
Leveraging AI for Learning: Utilizing the latest technology to enhance educational resources available to students.
2.
Connecting Youth with Local Government: Facilitating access to information regarding municipal support and services.
3.
Student-Centric Information Sharing: Ensuring that the content is both engaging and beneficial from the perspective of the students themselves.
To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for approximately 10 enthusiastic members from the junior high and high school communities to contribute to this project.
Member Activities and Events

1. Workshops

- - Format: These workshops will be conducted both in-person (near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building) and online to accommodate various preferences.
2. Interviews and Article Production
Participants will explore and document the unique attractions of Tokyo and the efforts by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, fostering engagement through editorial meetings that lead to article creation and sharing of information relevant to their peers.
- - When: From July 2025 to mid-February 2026, similar to the workshops, an estimated five sessions are planned.
