Lemon Association Launches Renewal Training Program

The Lemon Association (Lemon Kai), recognized as a designated provider in Saitama Prefecture, is excited to announce the launch of its "Renewal Training for Service Managers" program, commencing in March of the fiscal year 2027. Known for its contributions in childcare and welfare for individuals with disabilities, the Association aims to enhance service quality and staff skills within this crucial sector.

Program Overview

The "Renewal Training for Service Managers" is integral for professionals working in disability and child welfare services. Service management personnel and child developmental support managers are mandated to undergo this training every five years. The program focuses on improving service quality at facilities, understanding contemporary regulations and initiatives, enhancing support skills, and mastering guidance techniques for staff.

Starting from fiscal year 2026, the Lemon Association has been conducting the foundational "Service Manager Basic Training". Now, it expands its offerings by introducing the renewal training, which will be open for applications from January 20 until February 20. This year’s session will be conducted in a two-day online format, utilizing Zoom.

Important Dates

Training Dates:
  • - Day 1: March 12 (Thursday) from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • - Day 2: March 13 (Friday) from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

An e-learning component will also require participants to submit pre-training assignments between February 20 and March 5, ensuring they are prepared for the in-depth discussions and practical exercises.

Accessibility and Applications

Notably, individuals from outside Saitama Prefecture can also apply for this opportunity, making it accessible to a wider audience. The application process involves submitting necessary documents before the deadline of February 20.
