Dive into Nature's Playground at FAMILY GREEN Atelier
Event Overview
From May 2nd (Saturday) to May 6th (Wednesday), 2026, Azabudai Hills invites families to experience the beauty of nature through the FAMILY GREEN Atelier event. This special edition, themed “100 Ways to Play and Express”, offers a unique opportunity for children to engage their senses in various nature-inspired activities. Created by Mori Building Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Machi Laboratory Co., Ltd., the event aims to enrich children’s lives through play.
Exciting Activities
Among the highlights of this year's event are nine diverse programs. One standout feature is a colorful fabric maze that symbolizes the event itself. Children can explore the maze while enjoying the fleeting beauty of wind and light. Also, the “Cloud Atelier” will allow kids to sit on cloud-like balloons under “The Cloud” roof and observe the sky, blending creativity with nature observation.
In addition, participants can uncover shadows and shapes in the “Sun and Shadow Theater,” join a guided tour of greenery within Azabudai Hills in “Green Walk,” and appreciate the local flora and fauna. With the community’s support, local stores are also collaborating to enrich the experience. For example, Ogaki Bookstore will host “Words and Rhythm Atelier,” where children can explore the magic of rhythm through picture books - a delightful blend of literature and play.
Community Involvement and More
Children can learn by visiting various exciting programs, including the “Taste-tracking Atelier” with Tokyo Juice, where they will observe fruits and vegetables under a microscope and enjoy refreshments afterward. Additionally, special menus and workshops for kids will be available in the participating stores, ensuring that each family member has an enjoyable experience.
Significant offerings include tasty treats made from local produce, such as carrot-based snacks, refreshing colorful drinks, and delightful desserts available only during the event at Azabudai Hills KIOSK.
