As we navigate a world shaped by digital connection and continual change, Junior Achievement (JA) has taken a significant step forward by introducing a reimagined initiative originally known as Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. On April 24, 2025, this event will be reborn as Take a Child to Work Day and Beyond, aiming to foster engagement among all children and their families. This initiative is particularly important in today's diverse landscape where many children might miss out on opportunities to experience their parent's workplace due to various circumstances.

A Legacy of Empowerment



Initiated in 1993, the original event was designed to give girls and boys a glimpse into the world of work. Over the years, it has grown into a significant occasion inspiring millions of children and young adults about their future careers. Tim Greinert, President of Junior Achievement USA, emphasized the importance of continuing this legacy: "We are honored to carry that legacy forward and, through our partnership with Staples, will make the necessary investments to ensure future generations have the experience of seeing the world of work up close."

By adopting a more inclusive scope, Junior Achievement is ensuring that every child can experience the power of work and prepare for their future, regardless of their background. Caregivers—including parents, volunteers from Junior Achievement, and corporate sponsors—will guide children through a day of exploration and learning, offering firsthand insight into a variety of professional environments.

Staples has stepped up as the presenting sponsor of this revamped initiative, reinforcing the belief that experiential learning is crucial for young people's development.
