Upcoming Cooperative Festival in Tokyo: Join Us!

On July 5, 2025, Tokyo will host the Cooperative Festival at the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, a vibrant celebration bringing together various cooperative organizations such as agricultural, fisheries, financial, and consumer cooperatives. The event is set to mark the United Nations declared International Year of Cooperatives.

The festival will feature around 40 different cooperatives exhibiting their products and initiatives that stem from community collaboration and support. Pal System Federation, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, led by Chairman Masakazu Oshin, will be prominently represented, showcasing products born from meaningful connections and the spirit of cooperation.

As a special highlight, a dedicated webpage titled "Connected Through Cooperation" will be launched on June 20, 2025, where both physical attendees and online visitors can engage with cooperative stories and initiatives.

Gifts for Participants

Participants visiting the Cooperative Festival will not only gain valuable insights into the various cooperative activities but will also have opportunities to receive free samples of products from the different booths. Each booth will engage visitors with activities such as direct sales of agricultural products, the distribution of samples, and hands-on exhibit demonstrations.

An engaging stage program will also be held, with popular cooperative characters from across Japan making appearances, alongside notable personalities including comedian Nana Takamatsu and quiz enthusiast Go Kaze, known from QuizKnock. These performances are designed to educate and entertain, highlighting the diversity and impact of cooperative efforts throughout the country.

At the Pal System booth, visitors can learn about initiatives and products developed from past cooperative efforts and share their messages related to the theme of “connection.” These messages will be displayed on the booth’s Message Tree, making it a vibrant representation of collective experiences shared by attendees.
