Recent Workshop on AI Interviews
On November 12, 2025, Trustyyle, a company headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, held an engaging community workshop titled "What Are AI Interviews Really Like? Exploring Realities and Experiences in Recruitment." The event, organized by the Human Resources Library community, included presentations by Shigehiro Sunada from PeopleX, demonstrations, and open discussions, concluding successfully with significant participant interaction.
Addressing Concerns about AI Interviews
As more companies integrate generative AI into their recruitment processes, questions and hesitations have grown alongside this trend. Recruiters worry about whether AI interviews would fit their organization's culture, how candidates would feel about the format, and if it would lead to accurate evaluations of applicants. In response to these uncertainties, the Human Resources Library, a network where HR professionals connect and learn from each other, recognized the need for an informative session. Many expressed curiosity about the practical application of AI interviews, noting a lack of shared case studies among their peers.
To address these concerns, the Human Resources Library organized the workshop, inviting Shigehiro Sunada, a key figure in the AI interview initiative at PeopleX, to share tangible insights into AI interviews' realities. The workshop aimed to create a space for participant engagement rather than be merely a didactic session, focusing on how evaluations and candidate experiences are approached in AI interviews.
