InfiMotion Technology's Public Debut Showcases Full-Stack Electric Powertrain Solutions in Wuxi

InfiMotion Technology Makes a Mark in the Electric Propulsion Industry

In an impressive showcase on July 16, 2026, InfiMotion Technology (InfiMotion) marked its official entry into the global automotive landscape with a groundbreaking presentation in Wuxi, China. This event wasn't just a debut; it highlighted the company's cutting-edge capabilities in electric powertrain systems, underscoring its evolution as an independent supplier in a rapidly advancing industry.

The event featured Joe Lin, the CEO of InfiMotion Technology, who expressed the company’s commitment to innovation: "We have dedicated years to enhancing our electric propulsion technology for major car manufacturers worldwide, and we are now ready to establish ourselves as a trusted partner across the entire sector."

Global R&D Network Synchronization

InfiMotion's research and development framework spans multiple cities across China and Sweden. From Wuxi to Gothenburg, a collaborative team of over 1,000 engineers, including more than 100 located in Sweden, work seamlessly through cloud technology. This global presence allows the company to tackle real-world challenges, such as high-load endurance on European highways and cold starts in Nordic countries, ensuring that InfiMotion's solutions are stress-tested under a variety of conditions.

Noteworthy Innovations

The company's technical prowess is evident in its series of industry 'firsts':
  • - 2021: Launched the first internally developed 400V SiC power module in China, featuring in the ZEEKR 001.
  • - 2024: Introduced the world’s first integrated 11-in-1 electric drive system, achieving a CLTC performance over 90% on a 400V isolated gate bipolar transistor platform.
  • - 2025: Launched the first series-produced double motor electric drive system using magnesium-aluminum alloy, alongside a high-performance coaxial electric drive system, capable of 5,200 Nm of torque at a mere 77 kg.

InfiMotion has also led advancements in ultra-thin silicon steel strip technology and modules related to integrated power systems, positioning itself at the forefront of developing industry standards for amorphous alloys.

Rigorous Testing and Certifications

To establish trust worldwide, InfiMotion adheres to stringent testing protocols. This includes compliance with ASPICE Level 3 and ASIL-D (ISO 26262) certifications. Its validation system encompasses extensive thermal cycling tests ranging from -60°C to 140°C, salt fog tests lasting 1,500 hours, and endurance tests over 2,500 hours, integrating over 9,000 individual testing elements required for European high-end brands.

InfiMotion operates a state-of-the-art testing center, acknowledged by CNAS, featuring the world's first engine test bench that reaches speeds of 30,000 revolutions per minute.

Precision Manufacturing

With five intelligent production sites across China, including Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Quzhou, and Jiaxing, InfiMotion boasts a remarkable 95% automation rate in its motor manufacturing. Their surface mounting technology maintains a precision of ±25 μm, with measurement instruments offering up to 0.1 μm resolution, supervised by an AI-based visual inspection system capable of detecting faults as small as 20 μm.

From Wuxi to the World

Today, InfiMotion delivers electric propulsion systems designed for various vehicle categories, accommodating voltage ranges from 400V to 900V. With a global network spanning China, Europe, and Malaysia, their vertical integration is impressive, covering essential components to complete systems. In the first half of 2026, InfiMotion emerged as one of the top three Chinese suppliers for motors and inverters, powering brands such as Geely, Volvo, and JLR.
