FOTON Unveils Comprehensive Product Range at Hannover IAA to Promote a Low-Carbon Future

FOTON Arrives at Hannover IAA with Complete Product Line

As the world moves towards a low-carbon economy, Europe has emerged as a significant testing ground for new energy commercial vehicles. The recent Hannover IAA Transportation 2026 trade fair showcased this momentum, where FOTON presented an extensive range of products that underscore the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Located in Pavilion 21, FOTON's booth spans over 1,000 square meters under the banner "EASY MOVE." The company displayed seven complete vehicles and six key components, purpose-built for common transportation scenarios in Europe. This includes applications in long-distance logistics, urban sanitation, city deliveries, and public passenger transport. Among the exhibitors, numerous models of new energy vehicles, along with heavy-duty vehicle batteries, electric axles, electronic control systems, and megawatt charging stations were featured, showcasing FOTON's independent research and development capabilities across the entire value chain.

FOTON's new energy vehicles have gained traction in Europe, supported by certifications such as WVTA and VECTO. The company has established a Regional Spare Parts Distribution Center in Unna, Germany, to enhance local after-sales service efficiency. With 32 overseas factories, over 1,200 sales points, and more than 1,500 service points, FOTON has implemented a comprehensive closed-loop service system that includes vehicle delivery, spare parts supply, and maintenance. From January to August 2026, FOTON's export volume reached an impressive 149,000 units, marking a year-on-year increase of 44.3%.

On September 14th, during the Media Day event, FOTON will announce several major strategic initiatives. First, the company will introduce a new strategy for the European market, focusing on the evolution of new energy products, localizing business operations, and developing a comprehensive service ecosystem committed to helping transition European commercial vehicles towards low-emission models.

Secondly, FOTON will celebrate the milestone delivery of its 13 millionth vehicle globally, with this model making its debut in Spain, highlighting a pivotal moment in the company's globalization journey. Lastly, the company will unveil the CAVAN BEACON, a versatile electric/hydrogen truck designed for long-distance journeys exceeding 300 kilometers. This will be accompanied by the presentation of seven new energy vehicles (NEVs) and six proprietary components, illustrating FOTON's technological independence and its zero-carbon logistical solutions.

The stand will be open from September 15 to 20 to distributors, customers, and media representatives worldwide, alongside partners like ZF, CATL, and EVE Energy, emphasizing strong collaboration within the supply chain. This participation marks a new beginning for FOTON in Europe and solidifies its position in the global showcase of intelligent Chinese manufacturing.

In summary, FOTON’s comprehensive approach at the Hannover IAA sets a strong precedent for the company’s future endeavors in the European market, demonstrating its commitment to facilitating a sustainable transportation ecosystem.
