Debby Carreau Takes Helm as YPO's Global Chairman for 2025-2026

The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a renowned global leadership community of chief executives spanning over 150 countries, proudly announced the election of Debby Carreau as its Global Chairman. Carreau officially began her one-year term on July 1, 2025, succeeding Sofyan Almoayed, and making history as the 74th individual to hold this prestigious position.

Additionally, her recent venture, Stack HRo, seeks to further broaden her impact in the HR landscape. Carreau is recognized as one of Canada's Most Powerful Women and is regarded as a thought leader in human capital, serving on multiple corporate and non-profit boards. She is also the author of The Mentor Myth, a resource aimed at empowering individuals through self-driven career development.

Joining YPO in 2011, Carreau has held several key leadership roles, including deputy chairman, and chair of both the Global Conduct Committee and the Compensation and HR Committee, as well as serving as a global board director from 2019 to 2023. Her extensive experience has equipped her with a solid foundation to tackle leadership challenges and improve member experiences throughout the expansive YPO network.
