Mersive Technologies Rebrands Its Collaboration Suite to Mersive Polaris

Mersive Technologies Unveils Its New Collaboration Platform: Mersive Polaris

Mersive Technologies has officially transitioned its renowned collaboration platform, previously known as Gen 4 and the Mersive Collaboration Suite (MCS), into a fresh identity—Mersive Polaris. This strategic rebranding, announced on October 8, 2026, comes with an updated website and visual graphics that align seamlessly with the new name.

The original Mersive Solstice platform was pivotal in setting the standard for wireless collaboration, proving that meetings could be conducted wirelessly, effortlessly, and reliably. However, as the evolution of workplace dynamics progresses, the needs of modern meeting rooms have transformed significantly. Today’s collaboration requires a higher level of connectivity across various networks, platforms, and devices, making it crucial for Mersive to adapt and innovate.

A New Era of Collaboration

The Polaris range introduces a suite of products: Polaris Host, Polaris Pro, and Polaris Essentials. The Polaris Essentials feature enables anyone within the room to effortlessly share content wirelessly from their own devices. This enhancement is complemented by the Polaris Pro, which facilitates hybrid meetings by integrating remote participants. Meanwhile, the Polaris Host, previously known as the Mersive Tablet showcased at InfoComm 2026, allows meeting rooms to initiate, join, and manage online meetings through a single touch display. Polaris Host is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Transitioning to the new platform wasn’t merely a hardware endeavor. Mersive leveraged insights garnered over fourteen years from on-the-ground deployments and feedback from IT and AV teams. They completely reimagined the platform, placing software at the center of its functionality, enabling ongoing improvements beyond the initial installation date.

Damian Blazy, the CEO of Mersive, noted, “The previous name, Gen 4, implied yet another step in a sequence of hardware. However, the essence of Polaris goes beyond just a hardware upgrade; it's fundamentally about redefining how collaboration is experienced in today’s workspace.”

The Significance of Polaris

The name Polaris evokes images of the North Star, a guiding point that sailors have relied upon for navigation throughout history. Mersive aims to fulfill a similar role for its clients, providing reliable collaboration solutions as organizations navigate the complexities of the hybrid work environment over the next decade.

Ryan Lee, Mersive's Vice President of Product, stated, “Polaris is not just a renaming of an existing product. It's a transformation in our approach to building collaboration tools that better reflect the diverse needs of modern workspaces.”

Compatibility and Support

For existing customers using Gen 4 and the MCS platform, the transition to Polaris products is designed to be smooth. Mersive is committed to retaining compatibility between older and new systems. In fact, Solstice Gen 3 will continue to be supported until 2029, ensuring a mapped transition path and a trade-in program for users to upgrade to the modern Polaris platform at their own pace.

Mersive Technologies enhances its promise to facilitate connections in meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and classrooms, all amid a landscape where collaboration extends across various devices and networks. Mersive Polaris is crafted specifically for this hybrid reality, enabling seamless sharing of content and engaging interactions with remote participants across any conferencing platform. IT teams can also centrally manage, monitor, and update their deployment, regardless of its size.
