The New Era of Creation: Dom Pérignon and Takashi Murakami
In the world of haute champagne, Dom Pérignon, distributed by MHD Moët Hennessy Diageo from Tokyo, is unveiling an exciting new phase in artistic collaboration. This initiative, titled
"Creation is an Eternal Journey", will showcase limited-edition products in partnership with iconic contemporary artist Takashi Murakami starting from
October 1, 2025. Their collaboration includes two exquisite editions:
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 Takashi Murakami Limited Edition and
Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010 Takashi Murakami Limited Edition.
A Historical Milestone in Creativity
Dom Pérignon has a rich history of inspiring artists far beyond the realm of champagne. Since 2005, it has collaborated with a plethora of renowned creators, such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Karl Lagerfeld, Jeff Koons, David Lynch, and Lenny Kravitz, each leaving an indelible mark on the brand’s journey. The
"Creation is an Eternal Journey" campaign, launched in May 2025, culminates in a collaboration with
seven remarkable creators—including Takashi Murakami, actress and director Zoe Kravitz, Michelin-star chef Claire Smith, artist Tilda Swinton, dancer/choreographer Alexander Ekman, artist Anderson .Paak, and musician Iggy Pop. Each of their unique perspectives will contribute to Dom Pérignon’s portrayal of its eternal creative journey, traversing time and resonating between the past, present, and future.
Tradition Meets Innovation
The discussion around tradition and innovation forms the core of the partnership between Dom Pérignon’s Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon, and Takashi Murakami. They view their creative endeavors as a blend of the
inheritance of historical techniques and an
unending pursuit of innovation.
