Celebrating 15 Years of Tama Plaza Terrace

Tama Plaza Terrace, a community-oriented shopping facility operated by Tokyu Malls Development based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary on October 7, 2025. To mark this milestone, the plaza is hosting a series of limited edition product launches and exciting events, including a talk show featuring the renowned gymnast Kohei Uchimura, every weekend until the first week of November.

Founded in 2010 with the mission of becoming more than just a shopping destination, Tama Plaza Terrace aimed to create a space where community members would shine and enjoy rich, fulfilling lives. Celebrating this vision, the theme for the 15th anniversary is "Together, Let's Shine". From March 29, 2025, to March 31, 2026, the anniversary campaign will feature various activities reflecting this theme.

Starting October 3, limited edition items will be introduced at Tama Plaza Terrace. Among them is a unique notebook designed with 15 floral motifs and shining foil accents, exclusively available at the plaza's store, Smith. A total of 38 stores will present special merchandise and novelties commemorating the anniversary.

On November 1, alumni of Nippon Sport Science University and acclaimed gymnast Kohei Uchimura will talk about his memories from Aoba Ward during his school days, insights on reaching the pinnacle of gymnastics, and his activities post-retirement. The talks promise to be both engaging and inspiring, offering attendees a glimpse into the life of someone hailed as "the greatest gymnast of all time".

In addition to these events, the plaza will host a vibrant mix of activities every weekend from September 20 to November 3.
