The award for Business Woman of the Year serves as the pinnacle of honor for ABWA, showcasing extraordinary leadership and commitment within the business community. Last year’s recipient, J Franco, MBA, MCM, the CEO and Founder of Franco Innovative Media Marketing, has spent her term as a national ambassador for the organization, serving to inspire aspiring leaders. The new honoree will be officially announced during the Top Ten Luncheon at NWLC.

In addition to recognizing the Top Ten Business Women, the NWLC stands as ABWA's largest national gathering, traditionally hosting hundreds of members who come together to celebrate accomplishments, delve into pressing business topics, and foster essential networking relationships. The conference not only emphasizes personal and professional development but also shapes the leadership of the association through the election of incoming Board members and the National President.

This year, attendees of the NWLC can look forward to a keynote address from Julia Landauer, a trailblazing racecar driver and Stanford University alumna. Acknowledged as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Julia is celebrated for her advocacy for women’s empowerment and STEM education. Her addressing the conference at the ABWA Recognition Keynote session will serve as a source of inspiration for all present.

Elizabeth Johnson, the Executive Director of ABWA, expressed that experiencing the motivational speeches from the Top Ten Women is a highlight of the NWLC, emphasizing their continual efforts in supporting and uplifting others.

Since its inception in 1949 in Kansas City, ABWA has been dedicated to connecting businesswomen from various occupational backgrounds and fostering opportunities for personal and professional growth through leadership training, networking support, and national recognition. With a mission that embraces women at all stages of their professional journey, ABWA stands as a testament to the strength and perseverance of women in business.
