Unlocking Business Understanding Through THINGi Board Game
On November 23, 2025, the HR Library in Chuo, Tokyo, will host an engaging event titled "Understanding Business Realities through Experience: Learning Management via the Board Game 'THINGi'." This initiative is presented by Trustyyle Co., Ltd., led by CEO Yoshida Yosuke. The event is a perfect opportunity for HR professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of management, as well as those interested in aligning recruitment, development, and evaluation strategies with broader business objectives.
Event Overview
The HR Library recognizes that for HR personnel to become truly trusted partners in management, a deep grasp of business structures is vital. Unfortunately, opportunities to experience management from an operational perspective are scarce in daily work. This event aims to fill that gap by offering participants hands-on experience with the board game 'THINGi', designed to simulate the complexities of running a business, team management, and entrepreneurial endeavors.
What to Expect
The event will feature game developer Yoshiko Ishihara (nicknamed Enmari), who will set the stage for an experiential learning opportunity. The agenda begins with an introduction to the inspiration behind 'THINGi' and narratives on how it has been utilized in management, career development, and workforce training.
Participants will then engage in a mini-session where they can sample parts of the game. This interaction allows them to intuitively grasp business decisions and team dynamics. The final segment encourages dialogue between the presenters and attendees, focusing on how to leverage these newfound insights within HR practices.
By participating in this experiential learning activity, attendees can cultivate their sensitivity to the essence of business operations, ultimately connecting HR practices like recruitment and talent development with effective business strategies.
