New Feature: Council Tour



As part of this year’s Report Meeting, participants will have the chance to participate in a newly implemented “Council Tour.” This initiative aims to give attendees an insider’s view of council activities and enhance their understanding of local governance. The council encourages residents to take part in this unique opportunity to learn more about how decisions are made that affect their community.

How to Register



In-person registration is open until May 16, 2025, at 5 PM. Interested individuals can sign up on a first-come, first-served basis via phone or email. The total number of on-site attendees is limited to 50, so it's advisable to register as soon as possible to secure a spot. To register via phone, call the Council Affairs Bureau at 03-3579-2704, available from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays (excluding weekends and public holidays). When registering, provide your name, contact number, and whether you plan to take part in the Council Tour.

Alternatively, to register via email, send a message with the subject line "12th Itabashi Ward Council Report Meeting [In-Person Participation Request]" to gikai@city.itabashi.tokyo.jp. The body of the email should include your name (with furigana), phone number, and your intent to join the Council Tour.

It's important to note that viewing the online stream does not require prior registration and is open to everyone.

The Itabashi Ward Council first held a Report Meeting in May 2014, becoming a pioneer among the 23 wards in Tokyo.
