Celebrating Respect for the Elderly: Nadaman’s Special Bento Offerings

Nadaman's Special Offer for Respect for the Elderly Day

As Respect for the Elderly Day approaches, Nadaman Co., Ltd., located in Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward and headed by President Kazuki Muraya, is excited to announce the launch of two unique bento options tailored to honor and delight the elderly. These offerings include the delivery-exclusive Keiju bento as well as the in-store and online Kotobuki no Zen, both designed to add a touch of elegance to family gatherings celebrating longevity.

The Delivery-Only Keiju Bento

Available for pre-order starting late July through Nadaman's online store, the stylish Keiju bento brings the flavors of Japan to your loved ones' tables. This meticulously crafted meal features beloved dishes such as “grilled flatfish” and “miso-glazed chicken,” along with the aromatic culinary classic, “matsutake rice.” New this year, the bento includes a tender and juicy hand-formed chicken hamburger and gently seasoned simmered vegetables, making it ideal for those living alone or for sending a thoughtful gift to relatives far away. Conveniently, the meal arrives frozen; simply heat it in the microwave for a delicious, hassle-free dining experience, ensuring that your loved ones can celebrate in style while sending the message of heartfelt wishes for their continued vitality.

Limited-Time Kotobuki no Zen

From September 18 (Friday) to September 21 (Monday, holiday), Nadaman will offer the Kotobuki no Zen at 44 locations nationwide, and on the “bento delivery” online store. This bountiful selection showcases an array of tastes including classic “beef sukiyaki” and a variety of simmered dishes, adding a festive touch to the holiday. This year, the menu is enhanced with colorful chirashi sushi and seasonal matsutake rice, sorted into smaller portions to ensure everyone can enjoy a taste of abundance in balanced sizes of just 130g for both types of rice, catering to the elderly diners.

The dish is also adorned with the refreshing taste of “grilled herring with yuzu,” skillfully balancing flavors from both the land and sea. To conclude the meal on a sweet note, the ever-popular “matcha pudding” is included, ensuring a sense of satisfaction for all diners, as the meal brings joy to the Respect for the Elderly table.
