Fundamentals for New HR Staff: A Seminar to Build Core Skills

Seminar Overview

On September 25, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, the Saito Social Insurance Labor Office will host an essential seminar aimed at newcomers in human resources. Titled "Fundamentals for New HR Staff", this program will help participants establish a solid foundation in their roles. Conducted by renowned HR consultant Takahisa Saito, the seminar will take place at the SSK Seminar Room in Minato City, Tokyo, and will also be accessible via a live Zoom webinar.

Purpose of the Seminar

The role of the HR department covers a wide range of responsibilities, including HR planning, recruitment, labor management, and employee development. These tasks require a high degree of specialization, as the HR staff must continuously learn to stay updated in their field. New employees may encounter situations where they lack both understanding and experience. This seminar is designed for those newly assigned to the HR department or for staff who wish to organize the knowledge and skills they have gained through on-the-job training.

HR staff play a crucial part in supporting employees throughout various stages of their careers, from onboarding to retirement. This seminar will follow the career paths based on age, examining labor management across different life stages.
