L'Oreal Achieves Global Recognition for Disability Inclusion in 2026 Index

L'Oreal's Commitment to Disability Inclusion

L'Oreal, the world's largest cosmetics company headquartered in Paris, has once again made headlines by achieving recognition for its outstanding commitment to disability inclusion. In the upcoming 2026 Disability Index®, L'Oreal’s locations across ten countries, including Japan, have received the prestigious designation of "World’s Top Disability Inclusive Business." This marks the second consecutive year that L'Oreal Japan has earned this accolade.

The achievement is a testament to L'Oreal’s mission of "Creating Beauty That Moves the World" and reflects its ongoing dedication to respecting and promoting diversity in all forms. L'Oreal’s initiatives aim to foster a society where everyone, irrespective of their abilities, can shine in their individuality. This global acknowledgment underscores the company's efforts in creating an inclusive environment that values and supports all people.

The Disability Index® serves as a vital benchmarking tool for assessing businesses' policies and programs regarding disability inclusion. It is trusted by over 70% of Fortune 100 companies and nearly half of those in the Fortune 500, helping organizations identify growth opportunities through data-driven actions that lead to significant long-term business impacts.

Tatsuro Yamamoto, L'Oreal Japan’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Correspondent, remarked on this significant recognition: "Beauty is beautiful because it is diverse. Being named alongside nine other countries as a leading inclusive business showcases the societal appreciation of our activities aimed at diversity, equity, and inclusion. It indicates progress toward creating a more inclusive environment. We feel our efforts are moving in the right direction, and we will continue to strive to remove obstacles in our way."
