Breaking Down Invisible Walls: Join the 'Coexistence Say Today!' Workshop

Imagine a society where everyone understands and respects each other's differences. What comes to your mind when you hear 'coexisting society'? While many are familiar with the term, not everyone sees it as their personal responsibility to foster such a community. In light of this, we are excited to announce the immersive program, 'Coexistence Say Today! Workshop', which aims to transform this notion through engaging activities.

Workshop Overview

The workshops are set to take place on June 8, 2025, and July 6, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at RESTAURANT 1899 OCHANOMIZU, located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. This two-part event is entirely free of charge, but prior registration is required as spots are limited to 40 participants per session on a first-come, first-served basis.

Part One: Understanding Personal Traits

In the first segment, participants will actively engage in a 'Trait Guidebook Experience'. This involves utilizing a guide that identifies ten distinct traits for self-evaluation. By assessing themselves on a scale of 'like-dislike', attendees will create a visual representation of their unique attributes. This exercise not only facilitates self-awareness but also promotes deeper mutual understanding among participants by acknowledging each other's differences.

The main goal here is to emphasize the notion that embracing individuality is foundational for fostering a coexisting society. By examining our personal 'shapes' and juxtaposing them with those of others, we build empathy and appreciation for the diverse traits that each person brings to the table.

Part Two: Unraveling the Essence of Coexistence

The second segment will feature a keynote lecture by an expert who will delve into the essence of a coexisting society. Following this insightful session, participants will engage in the Wonder World Tour, a simulation designed to cultivate empathy and a sense of responsibility.

In this life-simulated game, participants will assume the roles of various travelers with unique characteristics, collaborating with others to complete a series of missions within a set time. This immersive experience encourages players to step into the shoes of others, enhancing their ability to view the world from different perspectives—a crucial component of realizing a truly cohesive society.

Why Participate?

Understanding our differences is the first step towards kindness. By taking part in the 'Coexistence Say Today!' workshops, individuals are given the opportunity to reflect on their own attributes, appreciate the diversity around them, and learn how to contribute to a more inclusive community.
