JAVCERT Study Session Overview
On September 14, 2025, the 64th JAVCERT Study Session will take place, organized by the Japan Voice Trainer Association (JAVCERT). Located in Setagaya, Tokyo, and led by Ryo Aoki, this event caters to a diverse audience of aspiring and active voice trainers as well as those interested in the theory of voice training. This session is part of our ongoing initiative to provide a learning platform based on the "Voice Training Guidelines" published by the association.
Purpose and Structure of the Study Session
The JAVCERT Study Session is designed to help participants prepare for the JAVCERT certification exam as well as to enhance the skills of practicing voice trainers. Grounded in our comprehensive textbook, which is available for free in PDF format, this session will cover urgency needs ranging from trial preparations to advanced understanding.

- - Those interested in learning voice training and instructional theory, even if they are not aspiring trainers.

During the session, Ryo Aoki will deliver the lectures, ensuring complex concepts are communicated clearly for all attendees.

Unique Features of the JAVCERT Study Session

Participants will explore various curriculum topics, including but not limited to:
- - The importance and practice methods of diaphragmatic breathing.
- - The relationship between resonance and musical pitch.
- - Vocalization techniques by vowel sounds.
- - Practical sessions on humming, falsetto, and mix voice.
- - Vocal training and singing practice.
- - Vocal care techniques (addressing ailments such as colds, vocal knots, polyps, etc.).
With a well-structured 20-session curriculum, participants can progressively and logically enhance their learning experience.
