Dart Expands Luxury Portfolio with Acquisition of Zemi Beach House in Anguilla

Dart's Expansion into Anguilla

Dart, the renowned investment company, has recently enhanced its portfolio by acquiring the Zemi Beach House located in Anguilla. This property marks an important addition to Dart's growing collection of luxury resorts, which already includes notable names like The Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman and Conrad Orlando at Evermore. The acquisition was finalized from the Goldstein family, who developed and operated the resort since its establishment in 2016.

Zemi Beach House is beautifully situated on six acres of pristine land along the picturesque Shoal Bay, known for its serene beaches and breathtaking views. With a total of 77 rooms, this boutique hotel offers guests a cozy retreat equipped with modern amenities and a distinct Caribbean charm. It features two restaurants, three lounges, multiple pools, and even a spa housed in a 300-year-old Thai structure, highlighting the unique blend of luxury and cultural authenticity.

Mark VanDevelde, Dart's Chief Executive, expressed his excitement over the acquisition, emphasizing Anguilla's unique characteristics that initially attracted Dart to real estate investments in the Caribbean. He believes that Zemi Beach House epitomizes the luxurious tourism market that Anguilla is known for. VanDevelde noted, "We look forward to continuing the legacy of family-owned investments and enhancing the Anguillan community's prosperity with our involvement."

Jackie Doak, Dart's Director, added that Anguilla is witnessing a surge in luxury travel, making it an ideal location for their expanding hospitality ventures. They plan to collaborate closely with Zemi Beach House's management and staff to craft enriching experiences that connect guests to the local culture and natural beauty of Anguilla.

The recent acquisition has been warmly welcomed by Anguilla's government officials, including Premier Ellis Webster, who stated, "On behalf of the people of Anguilla, we welcome Dart's continued investment into our economy and society." This sentiment was echoed by the Minister of Tourism, Haydn Hughes, who acknowledged the positive contributions Dart has made to Anguilla's tourism product and community development.

Dart's commitment to Anguilla goes beyond mere investment in luxury resorts. The company has previously contributed to local infrastructure and community spaces, demonstrating a multifaceted approach to tourism that benefits both visitors and residents. For instance, after acquiring the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla in 2022, Dart supported the establishment of the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre, fostering community engagement and cultural enrichment.

This dedication to local development aligns with Dart's overarching philosophy, which seeks to create enduring value for the communities in which they operate. Their history of land conservation in various regions further reflects this commitment to sustainability and community-focused growth.

As Dart continues to explore new investment opportunities, including potential developments that further enhance the experiences available to both tourists and locals, the future looks promising for Anguilla's luxury tourism sector. With the integration of Zemi Beach House into its operations, Dart is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the travel landscape of Anguilla while maintaining a strong focus on community welfare and environmental sustainability.

In the competitive realm of luxury travel, Dart's acquisition represents not only a business investment but also a commitment to the cultural and ecological richness of Anguilla, making it an exciting new chapter for travelers and residents alike.
