Introduction to the Course on AI Utilization in PR
The Japan Management Association (JMA), headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to host an online training seminar targeted at PR professionals on February 3, 2026. This workshop aims to empower participants by teaching them how to harness the capabilities of generative AI for various PR functions including press release creation, social media management, internal communication design, competitive analysis, and strategic project planning—all within a single day.
In addition to live participation, registrants will have access to a week of recorded sessions, allowing them to review the material at their own pace, making it an ideal format for busy professionals.
Why Focus on AI in PR Now?
Generative AI is becoming increasingly integrated into PR practices, enabling significant improvements in daily tasks such as content creation, information gathering, and strategic analysis. However, many PR practitioners express uncertainty and hesitation, voicing concerns such as, "I don't know where to start" or "I'm not confident in my ability to utilize AI tools."
This course seeks to bridge that gap by transforming attendees’ understanding of generative AI into practical skills they can apply directly in their work. By using real-world PR scenarios, participants will learn how to effectively employ AI in their respective roles.
Outcomes from the Course
The course aims to equip participants with three essential skills:
1.
Enhanced Efficiency: Participants will learn how to apply generative AI techniques to streamline their PR tasks and showcase measurable results.
2.
Risk Management: Attendees will develop an understanding of potential risks associated with AI and gain the skills necessary to implement AI confidently and persuasively in their organizations.
3.
Strategic Application: By mastering project planning, communication, and analytical techniques using AI, professionals will position themselves as strategic partners within their teams.
