Mazda's April Sales Performance
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has announced notable sales achievements for April 2025, with a remarkable total of
37,660 vehicles sold. This figure marks a
21% increase compared to April 2024, making it the second-best April sales month in the company's history. The overall sales so far this year have reached
147,976 vehicles, reflecting a
12.8% increase year-to-date compared to the previous year.
Throughout April, Mazda benefited from having
26 selling days, which is one more than the previous year's 25 days. This aligned with a significant
16.3% growth in the daily sales rate (DSR), showcasing the brand's ability to leverage improved sales days effectively.
Certified Pre-Owned Sales Growth
In addition to new vehicle sales, certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle sales totaled
6,855 units for April, representing a
9% increase versus the same month last year, indicating a healthy demand in the used vehicle segment as well.
Highlights of April 2025 Sales
Several standout statistics highlight Mazda's competitive position within the automotive market for April 2025:

- - The CX-50 also had its second-best April, selling 7,753 units.
- - Another key performer, the CX-30, recorded 6,261 units, marking its second-best sales month in April to date.
Mazda’s Canadian operations reported strong outcomes as well, with
8,346 vehicles sold, representing a
40.2% growth compared to April 2024. Cumulatively, year-to-date sales in Canada hit
24,884 vehicles, up
27.2% from last year.
In Mexico, Mazda Motor de México announced sales of
7,937 vehicles in April, an
11% increase from the prior year, with total year-to-date sales reaching
34,112, showcasing a
25% hike.
