On December 13, 2025, Starbucks Coffee Japan will unveil a delightful new collection at the Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo, in collaboration with the renowned Shimada Koen Dolls workshop located in Kyoto’s Ninenzaka. This collection celebrates the 2026 zodiac, featuring various auspicious items that embody the spirit of Japanese culture and tradition.
The partnership with Shimada Koen Dolls, established in 1859, highlights the craftsmanship and passion behind each piece, making this collaboration a highly anticipated end-of-year tradition for many. This year’s collection will not only include traditional ‘Gosho Ningyo’ dolls and auspicious items such as lucky cats but will also introduce festive decorations that evoke the spirit of Christmas.
New Year’s Zodiac Collection
In line with the zodiac theme, the star of the collection is the
2026 Zodiac Figurine featuring the ‘Horse’ (午). These charming pieces embody a round shape with gentle expressions, adorned with hints of gold, symbolizing the joy and hope of the New Year. Each figurine carries a mark representing the Tokyo Roastery’s iconic star, adding a personal touch to the design.
