BMAC LIVE Accelerator Program Returns



The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), in collaboration with Live Nation, is thrilled to announce the return of the BMAC LIVE Accelerator Program for its second iteration, continuing its mission of promoting diversity and inclusion in the live music sector. After the success of its inaugural year, this program invites twenty promising individuals eager to carve their paths in the music industry to apply for a week-long immersive experience.

Program Details



Commencing on July 14 and concluding on July 18, 2025, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, the BMAC LIVE Accelerator provides participants with unparalleled chances to gain hands-on training and direct networking opportunities with industry leaders. The program is designed to equip budding professionals with the necessary skills and insights required for a successful career in the live entertainment arena, covering various key areas such as show production, talent booking, marketing strategies, and artist relations.

Applications for this transformative experience opened on May 5, 2025, and will remain open until May 16, 2025. Candidates who are selected will be notified by June 20, 2025, ensuring ample time to prepare for their participation.

Moreover, the program's participants will have exclusive access to paid, part-time internship roles at Live Nation, paving the way for their first professional experiences in this bustling industry. Throughout their internships, they will receive ongoing mentorship from both BMAC and Live Nation, amplifying their chances of maximizing this unique opportunity.

Broader Initiatives by BMAC



The BMAC LIVE Accelerator Program is part of a broader initiative led by BMAC to promote equity and opportunity within the music industry. Other recent initiatives include the Music Business Accelerator Program in partnership with HBCU Tennessee State University and various guaranteed income and mentorship programs catering to talented music creators. Additionally, in response to the 2025 LA Wildfires, BMAC introduced the Restore and Rebuild LA fund to assist those affected by the disaster.

With support from industry luminaries, including Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Victoria Monet, and the Luther Vandross Foundation, BMAC continues to empower and uplift emerging artists and industry professionals through various grants and programs.
