Seminar on Executive Development
We are excited to announce an insightful seminar titled,
"From Assisting the CEO to Cross-Border Learning: Strategies for Executive Development by Book Off HD". Scheduled for
November 12, 2025, from
14:00 to 15:00 (JST), this event promises to enhance your understanding of effective leadership training strategies. The seminar will be led by
Mr. Shinichi Nomura, Deputy Director of Group Strategic Planning at Book Off Group Holdings, who will share the company’s approach to cultivating executive talent
In today's rapidly changing business landscape, nurturing the next generation of leadership is more critical than ever. Traditional training programs based primarily on information intake often fail to develop the complex decision-making and execution skills that modern leaders require. In response to this challenge, Book Off Group Holdings has been systematically enhancing its executive development programs, focusing on practical experiences rather than just theoretical instruction.
One of the key strategies employed by Book Off includes not only classroom training but also practical experiences, such as
shadowing the CEO or engaging with external talents from other companies in similar sectors. These real-world experiences allow participants to gain insights into management roles directly and help them cultivate a leadership perspective. Beginning last year, to further enrich these opportunities, they introduced
cross-border learning initiatives, providing leaders with insights beyond their own company's norms and roles.
During this seminar, Mr. Nomura will delve into the overarching framework of executive talent development at Book Off, as well as
strategic considerations and tangible outcomes in creating practical leadership opportunities. This session will be particularly beneficial for:
- - Company executives and senior management
- - HR departments, corporate planning teams, and departmental HR personnel
- - Individuals interested in concrete examples of succession planning practices and methodologies
- - Organizations looking to reassess their successor training programs that may require a fresh perspective
- - Those intrigued by innovative learning methods, including cross-border training
