Nurturing Career Perspectives: The DOMINISTA CHALLENGE Program for Students

In an effort to cultivate a sense of career awareness among high school students, Dormy Inn Maebashi, operated by Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., is set to host the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program on October 21-22, 2025. This initiative specifically targets students from Gunma Prefectural Maebashi Commercial High School, providing them with a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences within the hospitality sector.

What is the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE?

Since its inception in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program has been implemented in hotels across Japan, catering to middle and high school students. It encompasses an array of practical activities such as greeting guests at the front desk, cleaning rooms, and preparing facilities before opening the public bath area. This engaging program allows students to gain insight into the hospitality profession, understand the thoughts and efforts of those working in the industry, and develop a sense of service by interacting with visitors. Through such experiences, participants not only nurture a perspective on their future careers but also foster a love for their local community.

In today's globalized world, where interactions with diverse cultural backgrounds are the norm, this program serves as a living lesson in multicultural coexistence. To date, over 70 schools have participated, including six from the northern Kanto area, showcasing the significance of career education in shaping young minds.
