Join the Third Noto Peninsula Reconstruction Volunteer Event!
The Yumeiku Foundation is excited to announce the
third edition of our volunteer activities aimed at supporting the earthquake-affected areas of the Noto Peninsula. These activities will take place from
October 11 to October 13, 2025, in the cities of
Suzu and
Wajima in
Ishikawa Prefecture.
Having visited these sites in
November of last year and
February this year to build connections with the local community, we are ready to increase our efforts.
Key Objectives of the Event
This year, our focus is on preventing social isolation among residents and encouraging meaningful interactions. We aim to organize several community engagement events for young volunteers. We welcome participants aged
13 to 22 years old from all over the country, with a maximum of
11 spots available. No special skills or experience are necessary—just a willingness to learn and contribute.
Personal Reflections from Previous Participants
Previous volunteers have shared their transformative experiences:
- - “I thought supporting meant only digging mud, but I learned that talking, laughing, and being there is also a form of support.”
- - “Life here is completely different from the city, but there’s a sense of normalcy that struck me the most.”
These voices highlight the essence of our mission: building relationships and understanding the realities of those in affected areas.

A Message from Yumeiku
Supporting disaster victims is not just for special individuals. At this event, we aim to involve young people from various backgrounds—those facing school reluctance, dropouts, social withdrawal, or general life uncertainties—to explore how they can contribute.
We aim to provide a space where teenagers can take action for others and reconnect with themselves. Individual small actions can create a ripple effect of support. We invite you to join us in Noto for a chance to meet new people and discover new insights.
Sustaining Yumeiku's Activities
Yumeiku Foundation remains dedicated to enabling children and youth to learn, express themselves, and pursue their futures freely. To continue this essential work, we welcome donations and support from the community. Your contribution will make a significant difference.
About Us
Yumeiku Foundation embraces the meanings of ‘nurturing dreams’ and ‘You make’ as part of our name. We focus on empowering children and youth to choose their futures. Our diverse projects span four domains: welfare, education, experiential learning, and creative expression, with nationwide initiatives.
