JTB Shopping Launches Special Page on Nasu Shiobara City Treasures

JTB Group's JTB Trading, based in Nakano, Tokyo, has announced the launch of a special feature page titled "Nasu Shiobara City Special" on their shopping platform, JTB Shopping "Rurubu no Sanjoku," effective November 12, 2025. This initiative stems from a collaborative agreement signed with Nasu Shiobara city government, led by Mayor Michitaro Watanabe, aimed at promoting tourism through local dairy culture and products.

The special page seeks to highlight Nasu Shiobara's rich dairy industry, recognized as the top producer of raw milk in Honshu and second nationwide, while simultaneously introducing various local specialties to nationwide consumers. By offering these products through the feature page, JTB hopes to create opportunities that encourage engagement and eventually lead to an increase in visitors to the region.

Product Highlights

The "Rurubu no Sanjoku" platform will offer around 20 items sourced from three local businesses, catering to those hesitant to purchase perishable items or heavy local products during their travels. By delivering beloved local flavors right to consumers' home, the platform aims to become a go-to for both nostalgic treats and new recommendations.

Nasu Natural Cheese Research Association

One standout offering is a special cheese set comprising selections from all seven cheese makers in the area, priced at 9,500 yen (including tax and shipping). This collection supports the Nasu Natural Cheese Research Association, which aims to promote the appreciation of cheese culture. With numerous awards from cheese contests, the artisans behind these cheeses have come together to showcase their finest creations.

Nikko Kirifuri Plateau Osasa Farm Co., Ltd.

Another remarkable product is a milk and strawberry milk set from Nasu Shiobara, priced at 3,907 yen (including tax and shipping). Featuring a unique bottle design conceived by local high school students, this set includes 100% fresh milk from healthy cows grazing freely in the expansive Nasu highlands, combined with the sweet and fragrant Tochiai strawberries.

Nemunoki Western Confectionery

Also featured is a milk-rich cinnamon toast pudding rusk, available for 2,460 yen (including tax and shipping). Produced in collaboration with students from the Tochigi High School Cooking Contest, this delightful treat encapsulates local flavor fully using Nasu Shiobara milk. The attractively designed packaging captures the essence of the charming black and white cow motif.

Special Promotion

To encourage purchases from the Nasu Shiobara City special page, a limited-time promotional offer will provide a bonus of ten travel points for every purchase made until March 31, 2026.
