SINEXCEL Unveils Advanced Energy Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026
SINEXCEL Unveils Next-Gen Energy Storage at Intersolar Europe 2026
During the recent Intersolar Europe 2026 event, SINEXCEL, a prominent player in energy storage solutions, launched its innovative energy storage system, the StellaON 1250K/1575K PCS. This new system is engineered to address the increasing demand for efficient and reliable energy storage solutions in Europe, particularly as the region shifts towards renewable energy sources.
Unmatched Adaptability and Performance
The StellaON 1250K/1575K is designed with a total adaptability concept, which ensures it performs exceptionally well across various challenging environments and complex power grids. This system leverages cutting-edge EconoDUAL™3 modules from Infineon, providing remarkable thermal resistance. By performing efficiently at temperatures of up to 55°C, the StellaON mitigates power de-rating issues that typically affect other systems, which usually experience a 15% to 20% reduction in output under similar conditions. This innovation not only enhances performance but also helps in reducing oversized system costs by up to 20%.
Robust Construction for Extreme Climates
Built with an IP65 housing and a corrosion classification of C5, the StellaON is engineered to operate seamlessly even in the harshest of climates while keeping noise levels as low as 65 dB. This feature makes it compliant with stringent European urban planning regulations, allowing for installations in a variety of settings.
Smart Grid Compatibility
As the European power grid undergoes significant transitions, the StellaON system is equipped to meet the demands of the NC RfG 2.0 standard, capable of grid-forming with PQ, VF, VSG, and SVG modes. It can handle a 1.5x overload for 60 seconds, exceeding the industry's standard of 1.2x. This functionality contributes to grid stability and reliability, enabling large-scale deployments with greater flexibility, redundancy, and resilience.
Maximizing Lifecycle Efficiency
One of the hallmark features of the StellaON is its impressive lifecycle efficiency. The system achieves a peak efficiency rate of 98.5% at full load and boasts a full load efficiency gain of 0.6%. Such efficiency metrics significantly lower the levelized cost of storage (LCOS). With modular configurations that can range from 1 to 8 hours and scalable from 2.5 MW to 12.5 MW, the StellaON is designed for versatile applications.
Additionally, the module features an innovative self-cleaning design that decreases operational expenses (OpEx) by 15% throughout its lifecycle. With a mean time between failures (MTBF) of over 300,000 hours, the StellaON guarantees a remarkable 99% uptime, with quick replacements for key components possible in under an hour.
Proven Global Success
SINEXCEL's successful implementation of the StellaON system in Vietnam earlier this year, where it operated reliably under extreme heat and humidity, laid the groundwork for expanding its reach. With over 500 MW in orders secured in the first half of 2026 and more than 15 projects underway across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, the StellaON's potential is being quickly recognized.
The system meets the network codes of various countries, including Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Romania, with certifications for Spain and the United States on the horizon.
