Celebrated in France on Epiphany, January 6, Galette des Rois is a traditional pastry made from flaky puff pastry filled with almond cream and hiding a small figurine known as la fève within. The custom suggests that whoever finds the fève becomes the “king” or “queen” of the day, symbolizing joy and togetherness among family and friends.
