Gogh: Celebrating One Year with Incredible Updates

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of its PC game, "gogh: Focus with Your Avatar," the company ambr has rolled out major updates that enhance user experience. This commemorative update introduces a variety of new features and such benefits, leading to its largest sale yet, offering a 40% discount for two weeks.

New Trailer and Key Visuals

As part of this anniversary, Gogh's official trailer and key visuals have been revamped. The game continues to evolve as it moves into its second year, promising even more engaging experiences for its users.

Room Posting Feature

One of the standout features introduced is the new "Room Posting" functionality, allowing users to save and modify rooms created by others, turning them into their own. This marks a significant step towards establishing Gogh as a "work-focused UGC platform," with future expansions planned for user submissions.

YouTube Watch Party

Gogh now allows friends to gather in virtual rooms for a communal video watching experience through the new "Watch Party" feature. Users can project videos onto the room screens, creating a social atmosphere reminiscent of physical gatherings. Solo play is also supported.

Note: The Watch Party feature adheres to YouTube's terms of service and privacy policy. It synchronizes playback across all devices but does not guarantee access to all videos.

Face Tracking and Expression Changes

In an unexpected surprise, the anniversary update includes a face tracking feature using Gogh avatars. This is complemented by keyboard input functionality to modify expressions, making interactions in multi-room scenarios even more vibrant.

Note: Face tracking can be used in multi-rooms, but expressions are not synchronized among users.

Outfit Saving and Hair Transformation

A new outfit saving feature has been added, allowing users to store and switch between their favorite outfits easily. Each avatar can now have three sets of outfits, leading to 27 different combinations when paired with the nine avatar slots. Users can also flip hairstyles, addressing a frequent request for more customization options.

Note: The outfit slots do not include hairstyles or facial components.

Rotation Tool

To enhance room customization, a new item called "Rotation-kun" has been introduced, which allows users to rotate placed items. Ambr is also considering the addition of more interactive items to enrich the gameplay further.

One-Year Anniversary Sale

The one-year anniversary sale runs from April 29, 2 AM - May 13, 2 AM (Japan time), during which users can enjoy a substantial 40% off the game.

Gogh Design Contest 2026!!

As an exciting initiative, Gogh is launching its first user-participation item design contest. Participants are invited to submit designs for avatar and room items, with the chosen designs to be implemented in both the mobile and Steam versions of Gogh. We eagerly await your contributions!
