Levine Lee LLP is thrilled to announce the return of partner Miriam Alinikoff, who rejoins the firm from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. With a strong background in white-collar and complex civil litigation, Alinikoff aims to elevate the firm's capabilities further in handling significant and contentious cases.

In her five-year stint at the U.S. Attorney's Office, Alinikoff led several complex fraud investigations, primarily focusing on healthcare-related programs. She has extensive experience with issues involving the Federal Communications Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration. Alinikoff's specialized knowledge encompasses the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and other relevant regulations.

Throughout her career, Alinikoff has been engaged in prominent litigation matters, including representing the Special Committees of the Board at Xerox Corporation and defending Deutsche Bank trader Gavin Black in a high-profile LIBOR-fixing investigation, which concluded with an acquittal. Notably, she also contributed to the bankruptcy proceedings for Lehman Brothers Inc. Her outstanding legal acumen has earned her accolades such as being recognized in Benchmark Litigation's "Top Lawyers Under 40" and as a
