MARSTEK Launches VENUS Family for Next-Gen Home Energy Storage Solutions

In a significant move for the renewable energy sector, MARSTEK, a leading global brand in plug-in battery technology, has recently launched its new VENUS family of products at its headquarters in Shenzhen, China. This event gathered over 100 distributors, partners, media representatives, and industry experts from Europe, showcasing a paradigm shift in home energy storage solutions.

The emergence of the VENUS family presents a vital step forward for MARSTEK as it aims to enhance the development of energy storage solutions for residential applications across Europe. Guests had the opportunity to tour cutting-edge facilities, including the advanced battery testing labs and automated production lines, specifically highlighting the new VENUS E Gen 3.0 production line alongside inverter manufacturing and residential ESS production lines. These impressive facilities offer a deep dive into MARSTEK’s innovative design capabilities, robust quality control systems, and vertically integrated manufacturing processes.

The VENUS family consists of three models: VENUS E Mini, VENUS E GEN 4.0, and VENUS E MAX, catering to a diverse range of residential energy needs.

VENUS E Mini

The VENUS E Mini takes the spotlight as the slimmest plug-in battery globally, designed for homeowners with limited space. Featuring a bidirectional power capacity of 1.5 kW and a backup power output also at 1.5 kW, it peaks at 1.8 kW for reliable daily energy supply. The integration of MARSTEK AI technology enables improved energy forecasting and time-of-use management, optimizing power consumption. With an ultra-slim wall-mounted design weighing just 22 kg, this model ensures flexible installation in modern living environments.

VENUS E GEN 4.0

Building on its predecessor's success, the VENUS E GEN 4.0 is a refined AC-coupled plug-in battery tailored for homes equipped with existing solar systems. It offers a robust 3 kW charge and discharge capacity, alongside a total storage capacity of 5 kWh, ensuring stable energy supply and seamless whole-house backup. This generation is 21% lighter and features a 7% smaller footprint compared to its previous version while boasting a sophisticated segment display. Designed with durable 314Ah cells promising over 10,000 charge cycles, the VENUS E GEN 4.0 guarantees long-term reliability. With the SmartBox parallel architecture, users can effortlessly expand the system to 9 kW or 15 kWh in just moments, perfectly complementing MARSTEK’s portable EV chargers.

VENUS E MAX

Targeting homes with higher energy demands, the VENUS E MAX stands out as the world’s first 10 kWh all-in-one plug-in battery. This powerhouse delivers 3.6 kW of bidirectional grid and backup power, facilitating a storage solution that enhances energy independence and increases self-consumption rates. The SmartBox parallel architecture allows the connection of up to three units for single and three-phase operations, adjustable to an impressive 10.8 kW or 30 kWh, all set up in minutes. Combining seamlessly with portable EV chargers from MARSTEK, the VENUS E MAX streamlines energy storage and electric mobility into one comprehensive system. Like its counterparts, the VENUS E MAX is built with secure 314Ah LFP cells, ensuring operational stability and longevity.

A New Era of Plug-in Batteries

MARSTEK’s launch of the VENUS family represents a transition from traditional balcony solutions to a broad spectrum of residential applications. These include whole-house backup systems, intelligent energy management interfaces, EV integration options, and scalable home energy ecosystems. With these advancements, MARSTEK not only encourages a shift towards smarter and more sustainable energy use but also strives to make intelligent energy solutions accessible to households worldwide.

Founded in 2009, MARSTEK has established itself as a pioneer in the energy storage sector, combining R&D, manufacturing, and global distribution capabilities. Its portfolio ranges across residential ESS, plug-in batteries, portable power stations, and rechargeable batteries, underlining its commitment to providing intelligent and cost-effective energy solutions for every home.
