On September 7, 2025, Medical Care Services Inc., a subsidiary of Gakken Holdings, will host a seminar titled "Transforming Cat Back and Swayback: Practical Exercises for Posture Correction - Step 3". This seminar is part of a series linked to the widely praised book, "The Posture Bible for Instructors and Therapists", which saw an increase in print within a week of its December 2024 release.
About the Seminar
The seminar aims to provide participants with the skills necessary to implement exercises that can effectively change posture, focusing specifically on correcting cat back (kyphosis) and swayback (lordosis). Held at Gakken's headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo, this seminar will cultivate the practical abilities necessary for all yoga instructors, personal trainers, and fitness professionals.
In previous sessions (Step 1 and Step 2), participants have learned foundational techniques; now they will dive deeper into understanding the practical aspects of posture-changing exercises. Led by expert therapists Naoki Yoshida, physiological therapist and N.Pilates founder, and Kyohei Shimizu, an experienced Pilates coach and sports therapist, attendees will benefit from a wealth of knowledge and actionable strategies.
