Five Exceptional Cabot Golf Courses Ranked in Golfweek's Prestigious 2025 Top 100
Cabot, a leading developer and operator of premier golf resorts and residential destinations, has recently announced an impressive achievement. Five of its 18-hole international golf courses have secured spots in Golfweek's highly esteemed
2025 Top 100 International Courses list. This recognition highlights the incredible quality and remarkable experiences provided by Cabot's courses worldwide.
The rankings were determined by a panel consisting of over
800 expert raters, ensuring a rigorous evaluation process. Notably, the courses that made the list include:
- - Point Hardy Golf Club at Cabot Saint Lucia, Caribbean - Ranked 5th
- - Cabot Cliffs at Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada - Ranked 12th
- - Cabot Links at Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada - Ranked 45th (tied)
- - Castle Stuart Golf Links at Inverness, Scotland - Ranked 54th
- - Lofoten Links at Gimsøysand, Norway - Ranked 89th (tied)
The standout amongst these is the
Point Hardy Golf Club, designed by the acclaimed architectural team of
Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. This course not only made its debut on the list but also emerged as the
highest-ranking new entrant this year. On the other hand,
Lofoten Links, known as the
world's northernmost links-style golf course, achieved its first ranking after Cabot's investment in the property back in September 2024.
Ben Cowan-Dewar, the CEO and co-founder of Cabot, expressed his pride over the recognition. “We are tremendously honored to see five Cabot courses acknowledged by Golfweek as among the world’s finest,” he stated. “Creating extraordinary golf experiences has always been our mission, and it’s gratifying to see our efforts resonate with golfers globally.”
This significant achievement comes at a pivotal moment for Cabot as the company looks to expand its global footprint. Earlier this year, in 2025, Cabot celebrated the grand opening of
Cabot Citrus Farms, its first property in the U.S. This location features
two revitalized 18-hole courses, including the newly acclaimed
Karoo, which Sports Illustrated named the
Best New Public Course. Additionally, the resort offers
luxury real estate options,
nightly accommodations, and a wide range of curated experiences, enhancing the overall luxury experience for guests.
Looking ahead, Cabot Highlands in Scotland is set to launch preview play for the much-anticipated
Old Petty, another 18-hole course designed by renowned architect
Tom Doak in August 2025. Furthermore, Cabot is actively transforming
Cabot Bordeaux in France into a leading destination for golf and wine enthusiasts. Excitingly, in
2027, Cabot will introduce its first mountain destination,
Cabot Revelstoke, and will also offer preview play at
Cabot Pacific, an 18-hole public-access course designed by
Rod Whitman.
Cabot’s commitment to excellence in golf and luxury living is evident in each of its unique properties, which include award-winning courses such as
Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia,
Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, and now expanding into the enchanting landscapes of France and beyond. The brand continues to deliver distinctive experiences, ensuring both property owners and guests enjoy an unparalleled level of service and amenities tailored to their individual preferences.
