On August 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Pal System Yamanashi Nagano will host a sausage-making workshop at the Pure General cooking studio in Kofu City. This unique event invites families with school-aged children to delve into the process behind their everyday food items by experiencing the journey from production to processing.

Taste the Difference of Carefully Raised Pork

Children will be guided through the sausage-making process by staff members from Pal Meat Co., Ltd., a subsidiary responsible for the livestock division of Pal System. The workshop features pork ground meat raised with great care, emphasizing health management without reliance on antibiotics or other medications. Participants will learn to mix the ingredients by hand until a perfect texture is achieved, stuff it into natural lamb casings, and cook the sausages.

To showcase the rich flavors of the locally sourced pork, Pal System will feature its original products such as "Boneless Ham Slices," "Roast Ham Slices," and "Pork Wieners." Techniques like the "unsalted curing method" will be explained, which minimizes the use of additives in their production. Attendees will gain insights into the secrets behind these long-selling items developed over 40 years in response to customer feedback.

Enjoying Homemade Sausage with Rice Flour Pancakes

The workshop culminates in a tasting session where participants can enjoy their handmade sausages alongside rice flour pancakes.
