FOTON Motor Sets a New Path in Commercial Transportation

On November 9, FOTON Motor held its 2026 Global Partners Conference in Beijing under the theme "DRIVE TO GREAT." The event gathered over 2,000 participants from more than 140 countries, showcasing significant breakthroughs in the company's innovative product development and strategies. These advancements demonstrate FOTON's commitment to transforming the transportation industry through eco-friendly and smart solutions.

Launch of GALAXUS Heavy Trucks

One of the highlights of the conference was the introduction of the GALAXUS platform for heavy trucks, marking a new era in intelligent logistics. This next-generation platform offers multi-energy solutions, which include liquid fuel, electricity, hydrogen, gas, and hybrid options. Built upon eight core values, GALAXUS features a specialized architecture designed for new energy sources and incorporates over 90 proprietary technologies. Notable achievements include an electric drive system with an impressive maximum efficiency of 97.5%, megawatt-level charging capabilities, and a total energy efficiency improvement of 7%.

FOTON's smart driving system has been rigorously tested over more than 2 million kilometers. It supports the transition from Level 2 to Level 4 autonomy, marking a significant step forward in modern logistics. The GALAXUS series includes various models like R9, R5, and D3, tailored for different logistics scenarios, such as long-distance transportation and express delivery.

Introduction of the All-Electric DAYSTAR

Addressing urban logistics needs, FOTON also unveiled its first fully electric light truck platform, DAYSTAR. Designed based on extensive user requirement analysis, this platform overcomes major challenges such as charging difficulties and high total cost of ownership. The DAYSTAR features high-voltage architecture operating at 800 volts, silicon carbide controllers, and oil-cooled motors, enhancing overall energy efficiency by 20%.

Additionally, the DAYSTAR incorporates a cabin designed with passenger car comfort, complete with full wireless software updates and has undergone more than six million kilometers of testing, ensuring exceptional reliability.

Advancements in Last-Mile Logistics

FOTON further advanced last-mile logistics by launching the next-generation mini truck, Wonder Plus. It boasts outstanding load capacity, the longest and widest cargo bed in its class, and a double wishbone suspension system, enhancing comfort and maneuverability. In a groundbreaking move, FOTON introduced the world’s first exclusive van platform powered by new energy sources, CAVAN C1. This platform adheres to global standards with a fully electric design and features a proprietary battery with high safety levels, peak drive efficiency exceeding 93.5%, and support for rapid charging at 2.2C, allowing for 100 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.
