Palladium Opens Pop-Up Shop at Nakameguro Tsutaya Bookstore

The renowned French boots sneaker brand, Palladium, known for its outdoor and festival-ready footwear, has launched a unique pop-up shop at the Nakameguro Tsutaya Bookstore. This limited-time event, running until June 4th, features a carefully curated selection of their popular items, highlighting their waterproof boots, the "Pampa Hi Seeker 2", as well as a special collaboration with the beloved children’s classic, "The Little Prince".

Tsutaya Bookstore, which aims to offer entertainment and lifestyle proposals closely connected to daily life, is hosting Palladium's pop-up shop as part of a nationwide rollout across 11 locations. Currently, three Tsutaya bookstores in the Kansai area—Kyoto Okazaki, Nara and Umeda—have also opened their pop-up versions, while Nakameguro serves as the second in the Kanto region, following the conclusion of the pop-up at Kashiwa-no-ha T-SITE.

Palladium's roots trace back to the 1920s when the brand initially started as a manufacturer of aircraft tires in France. After World War II, Palladium utilized its tire technology to begin producing rubber-soled boots, eventually becoming a staple in Japan's festival and outdoor culture.

The pop-up at Nakameguro showcases a variety of Palladium’s waterproof products, including the popular "Pampa Hi Seeker 2", and a special reissue of the 1950s hiking shoe, the "Para Shock", with waterproof features. Additionally, the collaboration with "The Little Prince" displays related books and products alongside the footwear, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the story while shopping.
