Tinley Park-Frankfort Rotary Club Celebrates Scholarship Awards for Future Leaders
Tinley Park-Frankfort Rotary Club Celebrates Achievement
In a move that underscores its dedication to community service and development, the Tinley Park-Frankfort Rotary Club has awarded $1,000 scholarships to three talented high school seniors this year. Each recipient comes from one of the local schools—Tinley Park High School, Andrew High School, and Lincoln-Way East High School—pointing to the club’s enduring commitment to help local youth flourish academically and professionally.
This year’s scholarship winners include Gavin Hemminger, a senior at Tinley Park High School, who aspires to study biology on a pre-med track at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Elizabeth Ardagh, hailing from Lincoln-Way East High School, is heading to the University of Notre Dame to pursue a dual degree in biological sciences and neuroscience, also on a pre-med path; and finally, Caden Wolfe, who will enter DePaul University with plans to study special education after graduating from Andrew High School.
The scholarship program is more than just financial support—it reflects the core values of the Rotary Club, particularly around Basic Education and Literacy, which is one of Rotary's key areas of focus. Each scholar is evaluated based not only on their academic achievements but also on how well they embody the motto
